ARROWSMITH LODGE, a complex care facility located in Oceanside Parksville, BC. We are a preferred location for those needing long term care.

We are currently looking for a Part-time Meals on Wheels Cook. We are seeking a person that is committed to providing high quality care with a desire to work in a family-based community environment. We are minutes away from the ocean, with easy access to Ferries, Airports and the beautiful West Coast.

Arrowsmith Lodge is an Accredited unionized facility, and is a non-profit organization funded fully by Island Health.

Job Duties: This position includes meal preparation for Meals on Wheels, allocation of preparatory work, apportioning and serving therapeutic and regular food items, and other related duties as per the HEU Collective Agreements. Experience in a Residential Facility preferable.

This position is a part-time position working Monday, Wednesday and Friday (with possible changes of hours around holidays). This position will be working under the supervision of a Certified Chef.
