As a Senior Microsoft Fabric Architect, you'll be at the forefront of this transformation—guiding clients through their data modernization journey, architecting scalable solutions, and shaping the future of data strategy. The impact you will have:
You will play a pivotal role in enabling organizations to harness the full capabilities of Microsoft Fabric. This is a high-impact, client-facing position where your technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership will directly influence business outcomes.
As a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, you'll lead workshops, assessments, and solution delivery across a wide range of industries. You'll also mentor junior talent, contribute to internal innovation, and represent the organization at industry events.
What you'll do:
- Architect and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance data platforms using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Purview, and Azure services.
- Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and roadmap development with stakeholders ranging from technical teams to C-level executives.
- Represent the organization at conferences, webinars, and community events. Publish blogs, whitepapers, and contribute to the broader data community.
- Mentor junior consultants and architects. Collaborate with sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams to ensure successful client engagements and solution adoption.
- Stay ahead of Microsoft Fabric updates and roadmap. Prototype new capabilities and contribute to internal IP and solution accelerators.
What you'll bring to the table:
- 8+ years in data architecture, analytics, or BI roles
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and related services
- Deep knowledge of Power BI, OneLake, Lakehouse architecture, Dataflows Gen2, Real-Time Analytics, and Notebooks
- Strong understanding of Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Dataverse, and Microsoft 365 integrations
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git integration, and deployment automation
- Proven success in client-facing roles, including strategy and delivery
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and executive audiences
Bonus points for
- Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Data Engineer Associate
- Microsoft MVP or MCT designation
- Experience integrating AI/ML into Fabric workflows
- Bilingual (English/French)
- Familiarity with Canadian data residency and compliance regulations (e.g., PIPEDA)
