Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests while ensuring food safety and quality standards are met.

Duties

  • Greet and seat customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary restrictions are noted.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to proper food handling and safety guidelines.
  • Assist in food preparation and cooking when necessary, including baking and cake decorating.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any customer concerns.
  • Package take-out orders with care, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
  • Provide recommendations on menu items based on customer preferences.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service throughout the dining experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Experience in baking or cake decorating is a plus.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Kitchen experience is beneficial for understanding the workflow between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
