Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting fragrances that match their preferences and personalities
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations and explain fragrance notes, brands, and features to enhance customer understanding
  • Maintain attractive merchandising displays to highlight new arrivals and promotional items
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
  • Upsell complementary products such as body lotions or gift sets to maximize sales opportunities
  • Stock shelves, organize products, and ensure the store is clean, inviting, and well-maintained
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, offering personalized recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Previous retail sales experience, preferably in beauty or fragrance retail environments
  • Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are highly valued
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions
  • Ability to perform product demos confidently while maintaining excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers remotely or over the phone
  • Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices including stocking routines
  • Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and proactive approach in a grocery store or retail setting
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations
