Foremost has an immediate opening for a Labourer position for our Welding Shop located at our north facility in Lloydminster, AB

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Welders
  • Shop clean up
  • Stock parts on shelves
  • Pick parts for jobs
  • Operate Overhead Crane in a safe manner
  • Follow current standards and procedures
  • Report discrepancies to immediate supervisor
  • Support inventory control with accurate documentation
  • Follow all workplace safety policies, and compliance regulations
  • Perform routine maintenance
  • General tasks that improve shop and yard flow and function
  • Performs other tasks related to his/her classification

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing and material handling
  • Able to perform repetitive heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs
  • Working knowledge of safe lifting methods
  • Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Able to communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Safety Training an asset, but will train as required

This work is performed in a combination of environments and may be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, odours, fumes, oils and various temperatures
