WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Project Manager, you will be overseeing the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific AV systems integration projects. In addition, the Project Manager will ensure projects achieve time, scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction requirements. You will be responsible for coordinating all activities associated with the timely, accurate, and on-budget completion of the project, according to established AVI-SPL Project Management processes and procedures.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
- Be a subject matter expert with contractual documentation to determine time to deliver, allotment of available and required internal and/or third-party resources to various phases of project (people and dollars)
- Facilitate internal and external Project Kickoff meeting among Sales, Engineering, Programming, Fabrication & Installation, Customer resources, and Third Party resources (as needed).
- Identify and manage project risk, resolving all project related issues with team or through escalation to management.
- Create and manage comprehensive project schedules and coordinate/verify appropriate resource scheduling for all required project tasks.
- Facilitate project material/equipment orders.
- Manage all project (equipment, labor, miscellaneous, direct, etc.) expenditures based on project budget throughout the project lifecycle, identify problem areas, spearhead resolution and communicate any issues impacting profitability to management.
- Provide and review status/progress reporting of all projects internally and externally. Raise any issues to management at this time for escalation.
- Managed and verify quality of work performed by internal and/or subcontracted resources.
- Raise awareness immediately to management regarding potential claims or back charges or any large costs that will affect AVI-SPL financially.
- Ensure that any scope, schedule, cost or change of terms are handled in accordance with established AVI-SPL change order procedures.
- Gather and supply AVI-SPL Service teams with applicable close-out documentation for future reference.
- Maintain and develop strong relationship with customers with direct interaction with focus on improving customers' perception of on-time delivery, quality, communication, responsiveness and problem solving.
- Respond to communications from customers regarding problems or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Steer project results to satisfy customer requirements to obtain AVI-SPL Net Score goals.
- Travel to various job sites as required.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must-Haves:
- Proven project management and team leadership experience.
- Demonstrated management of multiple projects using sound time management skills with an exceptional eye for detail.
- Effective communication and interaction skills.
- Creative problem solving and investigation skills to identify complex problems and generate solutions.
- Understanding of all revenue, budget, margin and financial variance factors of assigned
- Demonstrated experience managing projects in the Audio Visual, Construction, Technology or related industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge of technical, contractual, and construction documents.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Microsoft Project (or other project scheduling software).
- Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standards.
Nice-To-Haves:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Audio Visual, Construction, Technology, or related industry.
- Comprehension of AV system functionality and installation processes and techniques.
- Formal education in Audio Visual, Construction, Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Être un expert en la matière en ce qui concerne la documentation contractuelle afin de déterminer le délai de livraison, l'affectation des ressources internes et/ou tierces disponibles et nécessaires aux différentes phases du projet (personnes et argent).
Faciliter les réunions internes et externes de lancement de projet entre les ventes, l'ingénierie, la programmation, la fabrication et l'installation, les ressources du client et les ressources des tiers (si nécessaire).
Identifier et gérer les risques liés au projet, résoudre tous les problèmes liés au projet avec l'équipe ou en remontant à la direction.
Créer et gérer des calendriers complets pour les projets et coordonner/vérifier la programmation appropriée des ressources pour toutes les tâches requises dans le cadre des projets.
Faciliter les commandes de matériel et d'équipement pour les projets.
Gérer toutes les dépenses du projet (équipement, main-d'œuvre, divers, directes, etc.) sur la base du budget du projet tout au long de son cycle de vie, identifier les domaines problématiques, piloter la résolution et communiquer à la direction tout problème ayant une incidence sur la rentabilité.
Fournir et examiner les rapports sur l'état d'avancement de tous les projets en interne et en externe. Soumettre tout problème à la direction à ce moment-là pour qu'elle l'escalade.
Gérer et vérifier la qualité du travail effectué par les ressources internes et/ou sous-traitantes.
Sensibiliser immédiatement la direction en cas de réclamations potentielles, d'arriérés ou de coûts importants susceptibles d'affecter la situation financière d'AVI-SPL.
S'assurer que toute modification de l'étendue, du calendrier, des coûts ou des conditions est traitée conformément aux procédures établies d'AVI-SPL en matière d'ordres de modification.
Rassembler et fournir aux équipes de service d'AVI-SPL la documentation de clôture applicable pour référence future.
Maintenir et développer une relation forte avec les clients par une interaction directe en se concentrant sur l'amélioration de la perception des clients en matière de respect des délais, de qualité, de communication, de réactivité et de résolution des problèmes.
Répondre aux communications des clients concernant des problèmes ou des préoccupations de manière opportune et professionnelle.
Orienter les résultats des projets de manière à satisfaire les exigences des clients et à atteindre les objectifs de score net d'AVI-SPL.
Se rendre sur différents sites de travail en fonction des besoins.

Expérience avérée de la gestion de projets dans le secteur de l'audiovisuel, de la construction, de la technologie ou dans un secteur connexe.
Connaissance avérée des documents techniques, contractuels et de construction.
Maîtrise de Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), de Microsoft Project (ou d'un autre logiciel de planification de projet).
Permis de conduire valide et dossier de conduite conforme aux normes de conduite d'AVI-SPL.
Expérience souhaitée :
Au moins 3 à 5 ans d'expérience en tant que chef de projet dans l'audiovisuel, la construction, la technologie ou un secteur connexe.
Compréhension de la fonctionnalité des systèmes audiovisuels et des processus et techniques d'installation.
Formation officielle dans le domaine de l'audiovisuel, de la construction, de la technologie ou dans un domaine connexe.
Diplôme de fin d'études secondaires ou équivalent.
