About Us
Physiocare Physiotherapy & Rehab Centre is a trusted, multi-location physiotherapy provider serving the Ottawa community. We are expanding our outreach efforts and are looking for a personable, organized, and motivated Community Outreach & Physician Liaison to represent Physiocare with local physicians, specialists, corporate partners, and the community.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting new people, building professional relationships, and supporting a respected healthcare brand. The successful candidate will travel regularly to clinics, medical offices, and corporate workplaces across Ottawa.
Role Overview
The Community Outreach & Physician Liaison will act as a key connector between Physiocare, medical professionals, and corporate partners. Your goal is to strengthen referral pathways, increase community awareness, build corporate relationships, and support light marketing initiatives.
This is a dynamic role that blends outreach, communication, and marketing—and requires a professional who genuinely enjoys interacting with people and representing a healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities
Outreach & Relationship Building
Visit family physicians, specialist clinics, and walk-in clinics to build and maintain strong relationships
Introduce Physiocare services, referral pathways, new treatments, and clinic updates
Identify and follow up on new partnership opportunities
Maintain consistent communication with referring clinics and partners
Corporate & Community Engagement
Visit local businesses and corporate offices to promote workplace wellness and partnership opportunities
Attend or coordinate occasional community events or health fairs
Deliver presentations or materials to offices as needed
Marketing & Communication Support
Assist with basic social media posts, campaigns, and brand communication
Collaborate with the internal team on marketing materials
Help align outreach messages with brand standard.
Tracking & Reporting
Log all outreach activities, contacts, and follow-up details
Prepare weekly reports for management
Track referral trends and identify new opportunities
Required Qualities

Required Skills & Experience
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
1–3 years in outreach, customer service, sales, marketing, or related fields
Basic understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
Ability to manage a flexible schedule and handle independent travel
Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle — mandatory
Assets (Not Required)
Experience in healthcare, wellness, or community-based work
Background in business development or physician liaison roles
Experience visiting or working with medical clinics
Work Expectations
Travel within Ottawa throughout the week (reimbursed mileage or allowance recommended)
Visiting clinics, specialists, and businesses in person regularly
Ability to represent Physiocare confidently and professionally
Occasional evening or weekend events (rare but possible)
Weekly progress reporting to management
Compensation
Hourly Range: $20–$30/hour (based on experience)
Compensation may include:
Travel/mileage reimbursement
Performance incentives or bonuses for outreach success
