What You Will Do:
- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative's vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
- Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
- Assist Food Store Team Leader in managing daily department operations.
- Supervise and motivate grocery Team Members to meet productivity and customer service goals.
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked, clean, and properly labelled.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering, receiving, and rotation of stock.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of grocery aisles and backroom storage.
- Help train new Team members and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Ensure signage, pricing, and promotional displays are accurate and effective.
- Assist with scheduling and planning shifts based on business needs.
- Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to and enforce the Safety Management and Asset Protection systems, and training requirements.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Who You Will Work With: Reporting to the Grocery Team Leader, you will play a key support role in managing daily operations, supervising staff, ensuring shelves are well-stocked, and maintaining high standards of customer service and store presentation.

Who You Are:
You are looking for a career opportunity in Food Store Management and Customer Service and:
- You have your high school diploma or equivalent; 2 + years experience in retail grocery operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- You have experience with inventory management, merchandising, and team supervision.
- You have strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- You are proficient in basic math and comfortable using point of sale (POS) systems and store management software.
- You have knowledge of retail sales strategies, inventory control, and loss prevention practices.
- You have strong oral and written communication skills and communicate effectively using multiple communication channels.
- You are available to work a flexible schedule; some evenings and weekends are required.
- You carry a valid driver's license (class 5 minimum).
- You can fulfill physical job requirements including standing for entire shift and being able to lift 25-50 lbs.
