Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving the growth of our business by identifying new market opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and managing key projects. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, ensuring that our business objectives are met while fostering long-term partnerships. Must have working knowledge and experience with Construction Development projects.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new residential construction business opportunities through market research and networking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, particularly Constant Contact and KEAP to track sales activities, manage leads, and analyze customer data.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with prospective clients to secure profitable deals.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
- Prepare and present business proposals, reports, and presentations to senior management.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with a proven track record in business development, sales, or a related role, within the construction industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, and industry professionals.
- Ability to analyze market trends, client needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategy.
- Skills in developing and implementing strategic plans to drive business growth.
- Proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools
Additional Requirements
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to construction sales and marketing.
- Willingness to travel as needed to client meetings, industry events, and project sites.
