About the role
Location: Montreal (2020, boul. Robert Bourassa)
Are you ready to take your career to new heights in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment? We are looking for a passionate and experienced IT Senior Analyst for our North American Financial Compliance audit team.
As a key member of our North American IT Financial Compliance team, you will actively contribute to the audit and certification process for our Canadian and US operations to ensure our adherence to North American financial compliance standards and thus promote excellence across our operations. You will promote the integration of data analytics and automation into our audit activities to optimize their efficiency. You will facilitate the audit activities with our external auditors.
The Key Responsibilities:
Audit Execution: Execute fieldwork and ensure ITGC design and operating effectiveness are compliant with NI52-109 and other regulations and industry standards.
Automation Opportunities: Identify and implement opportunities for Data analytics and automation in financial processes and controls.
Continuous Improvement: Support the review and ongoing enhancement of the IT General Controls (ITGC) framework.
Collaboration: Collaborate and provide IT expertise on special projects.
Adaptive Controls: Ensure IT internal controls are aligned with business needs and evolve with available technologies.
Remediation Support: Guide IT teams in identifying and selecting solutions for remediating deficiencies.
Follow-Up: Monitor the resolution of deficiencies and track progress on activities related to ITGC certification.
Collaboration and Communication: Build strong relationships with IT and Business teams. Foster a culture of collaboration and robust internal controls environment.
Your Skills and Experience:
Relevant Experience: 3 to 4 years of experience in IT and Financial Compliance audits in a Big Four or the Industry.
Technical skills: Strong understanding of NI52-109 and/or (SOx) regulations, IT General Controls (ITGC), and auditing standards and procedures.
Teamwork Excellence: Outstanding teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail in planning and execution.
Quality of Work: Deliver excellent quality of work that requires very limited review notes and rework.
Continuous Learning: Eagerness to learn new things in a changing environment.
Adaptability: Flexibility, autonomy, agility, and proactivity.
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
