Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
  • Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
  • Process cash handling transactions accurately, including handling payments and providing change as necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
  • Adhere to food safety guidelines during food preparation and service to ensure guest safety.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
  • Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but can be learned on the job.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain high standards of hygiene in food preparation and service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
