Gleaners Foodbank (Quinte) is Belleville's community food bank and a proud member of Feed Ontario. We collect and distribute food for free throughout our community, striving to nourish those in need and give hope to the hungry.
Role Description
This is a temporary, full-time on-site role based in Belleville, ON for a Project Coordinator (Accreditation). Gleaners is on a journey toward accreditation with Food Banks Canada's Standards of Excellence by March 31, 2026. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing the accreditation process, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and collaborating closely with various departments. Day-to-day tasks include documentation, scheduling, organizing meetings, and maintaining records.
Qualifications
- Project coordination and management skills, including scheduling and organizing meetings
- Experience with documentation and maintaining records
- Knowledge of accreditation processes and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
