Role

This is a full-time Summer Student (2L) role located on-site in Toronto, ON. As a Summer Student at Wu Law, you will assist in conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and preparing case materials. You will support the team in case analysis, attend legal proceedings, and engage in administrative tasks as needed to ensure efficient daily operations. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in litigation.

Qualifications

  • Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills
  • Ability to draft and review legal documents with attention to detail
  • Effective verbal communication and collaboration skills
  • Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in using legal research tools and Microsoft Office
  • Interest or coursework in intellectual property law, technology law, or related fields
  • Currently enrolled as a student in a recognized law program
  • Commitment to working on-site at the Toronto, ON office throughout the summer term
  • Advanced degree is an asset
  • Preference for University of Ottawa Faculty of Law JD candidates; Technoship is an asset
