Aerostream is looking for a committed, hardworking, and responsible individual to join our team as a full-time Transfer Driver.

The Transfer Driver is responsible for driving different company vehicles for the purpose of delivering and picking up shipments from our customers or between company warehouse locations. The driver will be required to ensure they follow company procedures by using our ELD systems, required paperwork is signed and recorded, and all freight is accounted for. Also, you will be required to follow all safety procedures and requirements as we strive to maintain a safe working environment for all our employees and customers.

Job Summary:

· Completing local deliveries throughout the Lower Mainland in company vehicles (5 Ton Trucks, 3 Ton Trucks, Vans)

· Shunting freight between different locations

· Pallet jack loading / unloading of trailers and trucks as required

· Complete assigned pickups and deliveries

· Assist in loading and unloading freight on assigned vehicle

· Pre-trip and post trip vehicle checks using the company's ELD system

· Report any discrepancies for company equipment, vehicles, and paperwork as they arise

· Follow quality service standards and comply with company procedures, rules, and regulations

· Keep a clean and safe working environment

Shift Times:

8:30 am-5:00 pm, Monday to Friday

Based on operational requirements and the volume of work, shift starting and end times may vary. As well, weekend availability is a plus. Possibility for overtime hours and pay as required.

Required Qualifications:

· 25 years old or older, as per insurance purposes

· Experience driving different types of vehicles (5 Ton, 3 Ton, Vans, etc.)

· Clean driver's abstract and driving history

· Class 5 BC Driver's License

· Ability to pass Criminal Record Check and Medical Drug Testing

· Understand and be a leader in following company safety procedures

· Fluent in written and spoken English

· Good organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills

· Steel-toed boots

· Fun, positive, and professional attitude

· Punctual

Compensation:

$22/hour
