Our ckient is seeking a talented Email Marketing Copywriter to join their team on a part-time basis. You'll be responsible for creating compelling email campaigns that drive engagement, conversions, and customer retention across our product lines.

Key Responsibilities

Email Campaign Creation

  • Write engaging email copy for various campaign types including product launches, promotional campaigns, newsletters, and automated sequences
  • Develop subject lines and preview text that maximize open rates
  • Create email copy that aligns with brand voice and drives desired actions
  • Collaborate with design team to ensure copy and visuals work seamlessly together

Strategy & Optimization

  • Contribute to email marketing strategy and campaign planning
  • A/B test different copy approaches to optimize performance
  • Analyze campaign metrics and adjust copy approach based on data insights
  • Maintain and update automated email sequences for customer lifecycle campaigns

Content Development

  • Research target audience and market trends to inform copy direction
  • Adapt messaging for different customer segments and personas
  • Ensure all email content is on-brand and consistent with company messaging
  • Meet deadlines for time-sensitive campaigns and product launches
Requirements

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience in email marketing copywriting with strong portfolio of campaigns
  • OR extensive marketing copywriting experience including campaign and product launch copy
  • Understanding of email marketing best practices and deliverability factors
  • Experience with A/B testing and data-driven copy optimization

Skills & Qualifications

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to write compelling, conversion-focused copy across different tones and styles
  • Strong understanding of customer psychology and persuasive writing techniques
  • Experience working with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Portfolio Requirement

  • Must provide portfolio showcasing email marketing campaigns or relevant marketing copy samples
  • Include performance metrics where available (open rates, CTR, conversion rates)

  • Schedule: Flexible part-time hours with core collaboration times
