Hybrid Work Model

This position is located in our Victoria, BC office. You will have the flexibility to work part of the time on-campus and part of the time off-campus. The requirement for in-office presence is a minimum of 40% of your schedule in a month. Additional requirements are determined by the role functions and operational needs of each business area.

We are seeking a
Marketing and Social Media Specialist
to join our team in
VICTORIA, British Columbia, Canada.

Are you a creative storyteller with a strategic mindset? As our Marketing and Social Media Specialist, you'll be at the heart of crafting and delivering impactful marketing and communications that showcase the value of BC Pension Corporation and the pension plans we serve.

You'll develop marketing strategies for multi-channel campaigns and create engaging content to enhance our social media presence. As a key member of our marketing and communications team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how we connect with our audiences, both internally and externally. If you love blending creativity with strategy to make a real impact, this role is for you.

Must have

Diploma or degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business, or related field. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.

Three years of related experience in a corporate work environment that includes:

Experience leading communication or marketing projects or initiatives, including client consultation, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating success

-Experience creating a variety of marketing and communication materials including plans, campaigns, reports, correspondence, and presentations

-Experience producing content across web, social media, and other digital channels

-Experience with M365 and social media management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social)

-Experience with web and social media analytics and reporting

-Experience with Facebook Business, Google Analytics 4, Google AdWords and LinkedIn Marketing

-Experience managing an online community, including comment moderation and tactics to promote positive engagement with a brand

Nice to have:

HTML/CSS skills to integrate social media content into websites

Content management systems such as Cascade and WordPress
