Job description – Purchasing and Warehouse Coordinator

Location: Paradise LeisureScapes – Saskatoon

Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm (Overtime may be required during peak summer season)

Position Overview

Paradise LeisureScapes is expanding, and we are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to help oversee purchasing functions, incoming and outgoing inventory, warehouse coordination, and vendor relationships. This role combines inventory procurement, warehouse organization, and logistics flow, ensuring the right products are sourced, received, stocked, and distributed efficiently.

The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, physically capable, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities independently while also collaborating with other departments.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Purchasing & Procurement

  • Analyze inventory requirements and determine replenishment needs
  • Generate and manage purchase orders, invoices, records, and documentation
  • Resolve purchasing or supply issues, including delivery delays and product quality concerns
  • Maintain accurate purchasing history and update internal inventory systems
  • Inquire, review, and order personalized custom orders
  • Back order organization and management
  • Review and arrange best freight prices

Warehouse & Logistics Coordination

  • Coordinate daily warehouse operations and delegate tasks to support staff as needed
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse and compound areas
  • Manage inventory levels, stock product, and ensure proper tagging/recording of incoming goods
  • Receive, prepare, and ship freight; ensure documentation is accurate and complete
  • Process warehouse and logistics-related email communications
  • Prepare product and freight quotes and generate customer/internal order confirmations
  • Support administrative tasks required for warehouse flow and logistics
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs+
  • Strong multitasking skills; comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Experience in inventory management, warehousing, or procurement considered an asset
  • Forklift certification an asset
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Prior experience in purchasing or warehousing required

Hourly Wage $25-32 based off experience

The successful candidate must be a quick learner capable of multitasking and prioritizing task in a busy working environment. Reliable, and capable of working alone with minimal supervision as well as being a team player.
