Head of Retail (GN) – Canada
About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Retail to oversee and drive the performance of our retail stores across Canada. In this pivotal leadership role, you will ensure operational excellence, consistent standards, and strong collaboration with store management and internal stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all retail stores and outlets across Canada, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Guarantee the implementation and adherence to uniform processes, policies, and brand standards across all locations.
- Conduct regular store visits and maintain close collaboration with Store Managers to drive operational and commercial success.
- Support recruitment efforts and oversee the onboarding and training of new store employees.
- Develop, recommend, and implement initiatives to optimize revenue, cost structures, and operational processes in coordination with the headquarter in Germany an the local headquarter in Montreal.
- Analyze sales figures and derive action plans to drive business performance.
- Collaborate closely with the headquarters in Germany and act as an interface with other departments (Retail Europe, HR, Marketing) as well as with additional internal and external partners such as brokers and landlords.
Your Profile
- Proven leadership experience in a comparable position within the fashion retail industry is required.
- Demonstrated success in managing multi-store operations and driving performance improvements.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire teams.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on operational efficiency and commercial performance.
- Willingness to travel regularly across Canada.
