Slot Attendant

Overview

As a Slot Attendant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the gaming experience for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all slot machines are functioning properly and that guests receive exceptional service. This position requires a friendly demeanor, strong customer service skills, and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.

This position is part time 7pm - 11pm evening/night shifts assigned every Friday and Saturday.

Must be over the age of 18.

Must be able to provide a clean police check.

Duties

• Provide outstanding guest services by greeting players and assisting them with any inquiries or issues related to slot machines.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the slot area, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.
• Supervise and assist in the operation of slot machines, ensuring they are in good working order and reporting any malfunctions promptly.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, including payouts and ticket redemption, while adhering to company policies on cash handling.
• Demonstrate basic math skills to accurately calculate payouts and manage cash registers.
• Lead by example, providing guidance and support to junior staff members as needed.
• Address guest concerns with professionalism and resolve any conflicts effectively to enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in guest services or customer service is preferred.
• Basic math skills are essential for accurate cash handling and payouts.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as required by the role.
