We Are Looking For
A highly experienced
Solution Architect – IM Planning
who can bridge
clinical operations planning and health technology innovation.

This consultant will ensure that business plans for the
SMH-T2 project
reflect both
operational realities
and
forward-looking digital capabilities
, integrating advanced IMIT systems across key hospital services such as Surgical Services (including MDR), Interventional Radiology, Interventional Cardiology, MCIY, and Inpatient Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with
    Clinical Planners, Facilities teams, and Enterprise operational leaders
    to align clinical and operational needs with digital IMIT solutions.
  • Evaluate and synthesize
    technology innovation concepts
    into actionable business plan inputs and executive summaries.
  • Prepare
    briefing notes, decision records, and executive-level documents
    to support IMIT strategy and planning.
  • Define
    scope, deliverables, and communication protocols
    under the guidance of the Executive Director.
  • Provide
    subject matter expertise
    for other Fraser Health capital initiatives as required.

Mandatory Skills and Experience

Experience:

  • 15+ years
    of experience in
    healthcare IM/IT
    , focusing on
    large-scale integrated information systems
    and
    redevelopment projects.
  • 10+ years
    of experience supporting
    large capital redevelopment projects
    in healthcare from an IMIT planning perspective.

Technical & Domain Expertise:

  • Deep knowledge of
    surgical services, cardiology, medical imaging, and clinical operations.
  • Proven experience preparing
    IMIT components
    of capital redevelopment business plans.
  • Understanding of
    IMIT roles, dependencies, architecture frameworks, and integration in complex healthcare environments.

Documentation & Collaboration:

  • Strong capability in preparing
    executive summaries, decision records, and planning documentation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with
    Digital Health Transformation
