Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Overhead Crane Technician based in the Greater Calgary Metropolitan Area. The Overhead Crane Technician will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting overhead crane systems. Day-to-day tasks will include performing preventive maintenance, identifying equipment issues, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and collaborating with team members to ensure optimal equipment performance. The role also requires clear documentation of work performed and adherence to company standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining overhead crane systems
  • Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems related to cranes
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards for overhead crane systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site environment
  • Relevant certifications or training in crane maintenance and repair are an asset
  • Experience in industrial or commercial environments is a plus
