Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations at our busy establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food service, and a deep understanding of restaurant management. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and managing overall restaurant performance to deliver an outstanding dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
  • Supervise and motivate staff, including interviewing and training new team members
  • Manage food preparation and cooking processes to uphold quality standards
  • Handle cash handling, POS transactions (including Micros POS), and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage kitchen and restaurant supplies
  • Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Lead team management efforts, including scheduling, supervising shifts, and fostering a positive work environment
  • Enforce health and safety regulations within the restaurant setting
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food quality and presentation meet company standards
  • Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality roles
  • Supervising experience in a fast-paced environment with team management responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking, food safety, and food handling practices
  • Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically
  • Leadership qualities with experience in interviewing, training, and developing staff
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations including cash handling, inventory management, and hospitality standards
  • Previous experience in hotel or barista roles is a plus but not required
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail
