Summary
We are seeking a creative and experienced Interior Designer to join our Toronto team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-end residential projects from concept through completion, transforming homes into elegant, cohesive, and livable spaces.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, aesthetic preferences, and functional needs
- Develop and present detailed design concepts, floor plans, and material palettes
- Create visual presentations and 3D renderings to communicate design intent
- Prepare detailed drawings, schedules, and specifications (AutoCAD proficiency required; SketchUp an asset)
- Source and specify finishes, furnishings, and fixtures that align with the project vision
- Coordinate with architects, builders, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution
- Manage multiple projects, balancing creativity with organization and adherence to timelines
- Stay informed on design trends, materials, and innovations within the luxury residential space
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience, ideally in high-end residential design
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and presentation software (SketchUp an asset)
- Exceptional eye for detail, composition, and materiality
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-interaction skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, creative environment
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a refined design sensibility and project experience
