Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, IT Services, this role is responsible for leading the strategy, operations, and continuous improvement of endpoint management across the organization. The Manager, End Point Services ensures secure, reliable, and user-friendly computing environments through technologies such as Microsoft SCCM, Intune, and device hardening practices. The role works closely with the Cybersecurity team to align endpoint services with enterprise security standards, ensuring all assets are protected while maintaining a seamless and positive experience for end users.

Key Responsibilities:
Endpoint Management & Strategy

• Lead the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of endpoint devices (Windows, macOS, mobile, and print services).
• Oversee SCCM and Intune environments, ensuring optimal configuration, patching, and compliance.
• Hands-on experience using Apple Business Manager, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Intune and Autopilot.
• Develop and maintain device hardening standards in alignment with security policies.

Security Collaboration

• Partner with the Security team to implement endpoint protection strategies, including antivirus, encryption, and vulnerability remediation.
• Monitor and respond to endpoint-related security incidents and compliance issues.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory and internal security requirements.

Application Packaging & Deployment

• Manage application packaging, testing, and deployment processes.
• Maintain a catalog of approved software and ensure efficient delivery to users.

User Experience & Support

• Champion a user-centric approach to endpoint services, balancing security with usability.
• Collaborate with Service Desk and Desktop Support teams to resolve escalated issues and improve service delivery.
• Drive initiatives to enhance device performance, reliability, and user satisfaction.
• Hands-on experience using Apple Business Manager, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Intune and Autopilot
• Assisting with hardware and software product research, evaluation, and procurement.

Leadership & Governance

• Lead a team of endpoint engineers and analysts, providing mentorship and performance management.
• Establish and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures for endpoint services.
• Track and report on key metrics, including compliance, uptime, and user satisfaction.
• Ability to manage and report on monthly financial cost and ensure budgets are adhered to.

First Year Deliverables:

• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of WestJet's Endpoint Services to identify gaps and opportunities. Develop a detailed roadmap to transition toward a future state aligned with Zero Trust Architecture, Autopilot deployments and Intune.
• Make actionable recommendations to ensure Endpoint Services are compliant with security standards and best practices.

Education & Experience

• University Degree or College Diploma in related discipline or applicable professional experience.
• 6 to less than 8 years in IT endpoint management or related roles.
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow and asset lifecycle management.
• ITIL certification or equivalent is desirable.
• Microsoft certifications in Intune and SCCM are critical for the success of this role.
• Nice to have certifications in applicable Microsoft technologies
• Azure Administrator Certified would be beneficial
• Intune Administration
