Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Journeyman/Journeywoman Glazier, located in Victoria, BC. We are looking for a motivated and reliable Journeyman Glazier to join our growing team.

As a Journeyman/Journeywoman Glazier, you will install and repair of Curtain wall, Storefront, doors, and other glass structures. Daily tasks will include measuring, lay out, assembling and installing window glazing and aluminum framing materials. You will also be expected to maintain your tools and company equipment, follow safety guidelines and procedures, and provide support to the team.

Responsibilities

  • Measure, install glass and framing for Curtain walls, Storefronts, doors, railings, mirrors, skylights and other glazing systems
  • Able to handle and install glass safely and efficiently
  • Operate tools and equipment related to glass fabrication and installation
  • Maintain a clean and organized worksite and shop
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
  • Support team members with loading, unloading, and transporting materials
  • Follow safety protocols and company standards at all times

Qualifications

  • Red Seal Glazier Certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reading, writing, communicating and mathematical abilities required
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Experience with working at heights
  • Strong customer service, attention to details and a commitment to safety and quality
  • Willingness to learn and continually update required certifications
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects
