ABOUT THE ROLEWe are hiring our first Account Management Sales Manager to build, lead, and scale our growing account management sales team. This is a pivotal role in shaping our sales motion and coaching our team to deliver exceptional results in the fast-paced customer expansion team, ranging from transactional SMB to strategic enterprise upsells. Reporting to the VP Sales, you will have the unique opportunity to influence strategy, processes, and culture while driving revenue growth.
RESPONSIBILITIESRecruit, train, and develop a high-performing AM sales team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture to maximize NRR within the customer base.
Manage team performance to exceed individual and team sales targets, with a focus on rapid customer expansion.
Creating automation playbooks based on account activity triggers that indicate customers who might need a higher plan or added features.
Understanding upsell & cross-sell opportunities and their context for different types of legal teams.
Create documentation, customer testimonials and other assets to address common pain points and pushback faced by the AM team.
Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align strategies, develop customer marketing programs and get feedback on customer needs.
Track key sales metrics, identify trends, and present actionable insights to leadership to inform strategy.
Actively participate in deals, providing coaching and guidance to the team on best practices and closing strategies.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
3+ years of experience managing a high-performing AM sales team of at least 5 people. Experience in B2B SaaS is required.
Demonstrated success in a fast growth AM role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas with both transactional and at least mid-market experience. Experience in legal tech or selling to law firms is a bonus.
Strong operational skills, with experience in implementing or scaling sales processes and tools (e.g., CRMs like Salesforce or HubSpot).
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
