Job Posting: Behaviour Consultant in Beautiful Northern BC
We are looking for a Behaviour Consultant (BC) to join our multi-disciplinary team to work with children birth – 19 years of age. The Behaviour Consultant would use family-centered, culturally sensitive and trauma-informed approaches to provide consultation, assessment, intervention and monitoring.
The position is permanent and can be full-time or part-time.
Wage depending on experience: $37.00-$42.00

General Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to conduct functional and skill assessments, develop Intervention Plans and Positive Behaviour Support Plans
- Write accurate session notes and maintain files.
- Attend and participate in regularly scheduled team meetings.
- Develop, teach, and demonstrate the strategies of the program.
- Assist in overseeing the clinical skills of other team members.
- Case management and report writing.
- Contribute to a strong team environment.
- Participate in group and individual client sessions.
- Collect/monitor/record data and review client progress with analyst and other team members.
- Maintain a caseload and provide direct services to families referred to the program.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst is preferred. Consideration would be given to a Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analyst in pursuit of their BCBA.
- Graduates degree in Psychology or Education, or another related field.
Additional Requirements:
- Current Class 5 Driver's License and personal vehicle for work use, preferred
- Available Monday to Friday, and be able to work flexible hours as needed.
- Experience working with children is preferred but not required
