Job Description
Reporting to the Director, HR Operations & Payroll, the Dayforce HCM Analyst will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our Human Capital Management (HCM) system to meet Neighbourly's evolving business needs. Acting as a subject matter expert (SME), the Analyst collaborates closely with Payroll, Human Resources, Benefits and IT Teams to ensure optimal performance and utilization of Dayforce HCM.

Responsibilities

  • Lead configuration for Dayforce HCM and Maintenance, through maintenance and testing including but not limited to:

  • Pay Policies and Entitlements

  • New Earnings & Deductions
  • Clock Devices and Web Clock
  • Organization structure for Acquisitions
  • Workflow Administration
  • Custom Forms
  • Security roles and permissions
  • Deployment of additional modules (e.g. ATS, Compensation, Onboarding, etc.)

  • Leverage expertise in Dayforce HCM specifically to assess current processes and develop future state processes aligned with industry best practices

  • Develop and maintain documentation including business process guides, job aids and user manuals to support Dayforce users
  • Collaborate with Payroll and HR teams to identify and develop process efficiencies and continuing improvements. Provide training to super users on functionalities, new features, and best practices
  • Deliver training sessions to Operations and HR teams via Microsoft Teams, focusing on Dayforce functionality and usage
  • Stay informed with the Dayforce Community, proactively monitoring infrastructure updates, hot fixes and system upgrades. Communicate relevant changes to impacted stakeholders and users
  • Create and generate ad hoc reports that are not available in the Dayforce Report Marketplace and Reporting and Analytics
  • Escalation point to support Payroll Team and HR teams, troubleshooting and resolving HCM and payroll related issues
  • Manage and audit Dayforce security roles ensuring alignment with current Dayforce security enhancements and internal audit requirements

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience related Dayforce HCM (including Payroll, WFM, TAFW, Scheduling (Plan/KPI) and knowledge of Onboarding, ATS & Performance)
  • Must have experience with Dayforce HCM modules for payroll, Workforce Management, Time Away from Work and knowledge of Recruitment and Performance modules
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and improve business processes and workflows
  • Strong technical proficiency with advanced skills with Microsoft Office, SharePoint and Excel
