Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and assisting shoppers with their needs. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and possesses strong communication skills, with a passion for retail sales and technology products. Bilingual abilities and experience in merchandising or technical sales are a plus. This position offers an engaging environment where you can develop your sales expertise while helping customers find the perfect products.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs
  • Demonstrate product features through engaging demos and explain technical specifications clearly
  • Handle cash register operations, including POS transactions, cash handling, and receipts
  • Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
  • Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure the store is clean and inviting
  • Manage inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Use effective communication skills to build rapport with diverse customers, including bilingual interactions if applicable
  • Assist with merchandising strategies to optimize product placement and store layout
  • Follow store policies on phone etiquette, time management, and organizational procedures

Requirements

  • Proven experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
  • Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are highly desirable
  • Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills
  • Ability to perform product demos and explain technical features clearly
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and stock management
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone or in person
  • Demonstrated ability to upsell products while maintaining a customer-first approach
  • Flexibility to work during store hours, including weekends if necessary; adaptability to changing priorities is essential

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 – 25 per week
