Must Have Skills:

  • Must be a Canadian or United States citizen
  • 1–2 years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with a ticketing system (ideally Jira)
  • Strong communication, customer service, organizational, and documentation skills

Responsibilities and Job Details:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a customer-facing environment
  • Work onsite at the Edmonton office from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM MST
  • Use SQL and Jira (or similar ticketing systems) to manage and track business requirements and tasks
  • Participate in projects within the "Codes and Records" vertical, involving sensitive government-related data
  • Analyze business needs and convert them into functional requirements and specifications
  • Support internal stakeholders by creating documentation and process improvements
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards while supporting software and service delivery
  • Coordinate with internal developers and QA to ensure requirement fulfillment
  • Open to candidates willing to relocate at their own expense
  • Nice to have: experience in SaaS environments or within the government/public sector
