Position Summary
We are looking for a candidate who is familiar in security technology that has experience working with Microsoft Cloud Cybersecurity solutions. In this role you will be responsible for performing business needs analysis, hands-on workshops, pilots, proof of concept, and client delivery engagements.
You will work with other Microsoft security specialists, engage with clients, and support the projects of our security technology team. The ability to Multitask is essential. In this role, you will be deployed on short-term strategic consulting projects.
Being bilingual in English & French is a strong asset.
Ideal candidate possesses experience as a subject matter expert for Microsoft Security solutions, such as Microsoft Defender 365, Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel. You will develop and implement best practices for configuration and operation of these platforms contributing to strengthening security baseline posture.
Duties Responsibilities
- Defender for Endpoint Solution Onboarding experience (GPO, Intune, Azure Arc, Linux and macOS onboarding, policy configurations for all OS types)
- Entra ID experience including: (Conditional Access consultation experience, Authentication Methods migrations to Authentication, PIM and Identity Protection.)
- Defender for Endpoint Solution Features Experience: (Understand and can explain MDE features like (Attack Surface Reduction onboarding and user impact avoidance, App Locker, WDAC, Application Guard, SmartScreen for different Browsers, AV and EDR policies)
- Defender for Cloud onboarding (AMA vs MMA, Defender for Cloud plans, Defender for Servers P1/P2, DCR rules, integration with Sentinel).
- Defender for Identity understanding and onboarding, including (gmsa accounts, sensors, health issues troubleshooting, sensitive users, honeytoken accounts).
- Defender for Cloud Apps experience including: (app integrations with OAuth apps, conditional access app controls with SaaS apps.
- Defender for Office 365 experience including: (threat policies best practices, Configuration Analyzer, Migration to MDO, EPO).
- Microsoft Sentinel onboarding, Data Connectors, Content Hub, Playbooks, Workbooks, basic KQL).
- Defender Unified 365 RBAC roles.
- Entra ID P2 capabilities is a plus (Access Reviews, Access Packages, Identity Governance).
- Microsoft Intune experience including: (Endpoint Security policies for MDE, Configuration profiles, Compliance policies, restriction policies. App onboarding, App Configuration profiles, App Protection Policies, integration with MDE, onboarding of Windows 10/11 devices through GPO).
- Knowledge in cloud automation & Logic Apps (playbooks) in Microsoft Azure.
- Run Microsoft curated workshops on Microsoft Sentinel, the Microsoft Defender Stack, and Microsoft Intune.
