Location: Hybrid (3-Day onsite), across Canada

Status: Contract/Full-Time


Responsibilities:

Work with senior client business stakeholders, lead the design of Data Governance frameworks, strategy, organizational components, functional competencies, and roadmapsLead client business stakeholders to operationalize ownership and stewardship responsibilities, and execute Metadata and Data Quality Management pilot projectsApply strong facilitation and coaching skills to business stakeholders and teams to drive organizational alignment and guide decision makingDemonstrate excellence in educating, training, and enabling the learning and development of othersThink strategically and execute tactically, including the willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

3+ years of experience designing and/or leading deployment of Data Governance programs
- or -
designing and/or leading deployment Metadata Management, Data Quality, or Master Data Management functionsExperience with the following data management technologies are a major plus and highly desirable:Metadata Management ToolsData Quality Management ToolsMaster/Reference Data Management ToolsTrack record of group leadership, facilitation, strategizing, negotiation, and conflict resolution, enabling the candidate to drive initiatives effectively across all levels of the organization (including the C-suite) as well as geographically dispersed teamsExcellent presentation, verbal communication, business writing, and visual presentation skills; PowerPoint and Word ninja, capable of independently produced publication-ready artifactsExcellent analytical and logical/critical thinking skillsEffective at prioritizing and managing multiple complex initiatives concurrentlyKnowledge of change management processesBachelor's degree with concentration in Business Studies, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management, or alternately extensive experience within a Data Management FunctionMBA an asset
