Who You Are
You maintain the highest standards of cleanliness during the whole cooking process
You have experience in a high-volume professional kitchen and are able to accurately follow recipes
You are familiar with traditional cooking methods and also modern techniques such as sous-vide and combi ovens
What You'll Be Doing
Preparing proteins, sides and sauces for a variety of Ready to Eat products for a direct to consumer delivery business.
Following recipes and HACCP standards as directed by the Head Chef/Sous Chef
Be fully accountable for all product quality, taste, presentation as well as on time, and in full order fulfillment within a CFIA registered facility
What We Are Looking For
Culinary Diploma required; Red Seal Certification preferred
Minimum 2 years' experience in high-volume kitchen or food production
Valid Food Safety Certification
Experience in banquet or catering services strongly preferred
Organized and efficient in food production and processing
A problem solver's mentality; you see problems as opportunities and see the benefit of doing things differently
Strong communication skills, ability to adjust your communication style to different audiences, relay information clearly and concisely
Able to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and timely execution
What You Can Expect
Hourly Wage: $23.06
Shift Schedule: Sunday to Thursday 2:00pm to 10:00pm
