Responsibilities

  • Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
  • Process payments efficiently and handle cash, credit, or digital transactions with precision
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
  • Assist in food preparation and ensure proper handling of food items according to safety protocols
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, workstations, and kitchen spaces in compliance with sanitation standards
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
  • Provide friendly, attentive customer service by addressing guest needs and inquiries professionally

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and communication
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and giving correct change
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • Good time management skills to ensure timely service during busy hours
  • Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous but not required
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.80-$19.72 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
