Thur Heavy Truck is an independently family-owned truck and Trailer repair shop in Elmira working on all makes/models of trucks and trailers. For 40 years we have been providing our customers with exceptional service and maintenance solutions. We are currently seeking a licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technician or level 2 or higher 310T apprentice technicians to join our growing team

Responsibilities

  • Ability to problem-solve and think logically.
  • Extensive knowledge of various heavy-duty trucks , trailers and their service needs
  • Motivated and hard working with a professional attitude
  • Efficient problem-solving skills
  • Efficient communication skills
  • Detailed oriented with the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications.
  • Experience with engine diagnostics.
  • Highly organized with strong ability to prioritize.

Required Education, Skills & Qualifications

  • 310T Technician/ 2nd or 3rd year apprentice
  • (4) 10 hour Days
  • Must own Tools or willingness to purchase.
  • Must possess a valid class G driver's license
  • Must own tools or willingness to purchase.
  • Must possess a valid class G driver's license

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
