We're Hiring 

We are currently looking to fill a full-time, permanent position for a Shipping Clerk in our Shipping and Receiving Department at our Leamington, Ontario facility.

What You'll Do:

• After receiving the completed pick ticket, verify that the product is correct in both quantity and items picked and staged. This would include verifying if the phase product has been staged. Verify that customer standards are being met. Proper pallet marker presentation, ti hi and temp tales are present and functioning.
• Visually count and verify that the stage location, spot count, chep and brown pallets are correct and documented properly
• Printing and updating the load sheet with accurate information for Shippers/Receivers to load trucks.
• Print and apply vendor specific labels using WMS and ensuring all pallets are labelled correctly.
• Data entry and monitoring in Smartsheet, TMS and other systems.
• Assisting with printing sales orders and pallet markers for shipping orders.
• Monitoring emails for revisions to sales orders.
• Verifying and entering the correct information into NAV for completed orders.
• Printing the BOL's and uploading them into the system
• Assist in Coordinating with the Fleet Coordinator to assign trailers.
• Verifying that all staging lanes are empty after truck is loaded and confirm that the load is completed
• Must comply with all Health and Safety, Food Safety, Bio Security, and Nature Fresh Policies and Procedures.

What You Bring:

• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software programs  
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment, some independent work 
• Ability to work in a fast environment by multitasking and prioritizing work while being attentive to details and quality 
• Ability to embrace and adapt to the rapid growth, innovation, and development of the company  
• Must be available to work regular 6 days a week or continental shift (3 days one week, 4 days the next), hours range from 40-55 per week and will fluctuate according to the needs of the business. Some Sundays may be required. 

What To Expect: 

• Fast paced warehouse environment is a refrigerator facility maintained at a lower temperature for proper food storage.
• Working with a wide array of people/cultures in a team setting.  These include offshore workers, locals, contractors, and vendors, etc.  
• There may be an occasional need for some heavy lifting (when needed).   
• Balance between sitting, standing, and walking throughout the warehouse – some desk and forklift driving are required.
