About Us

Hewson Bros. a fourth-generation, family-owned building supply company dedicated to supporting contractors, builders, and the construction industry with quality products and outstanding service. We're looking for a motivated co-op student to join our team for a short-term placement to help us streamline our marketing efforts and CRM data.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media content scheduling, and CRM management while working directly with our marketing and sales teams.

Responsibilities

During this placement, you will work on two core projects:

  1. Social Media Content Support

·
Organize, draft, and schedule social media posts for our product lines across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook).

Update and organize our existing content library (images, videos, blog posts, graphics).

·
Create a posting calendar covering at least 1–2 months of content, plus all major holidays.

·
Assist with light graphic design tasks (Adobe, Canva or similar tools).

·
Research and recommend ideas for future posts, trends, and hashtags relevant to the construction/building supply industry.

  1. CRM Cleanup & Data Entry

·
Review and update company and contact information in our CRM (HubSpot).

·
Standardize contact details, company names, and job titles.

·
Remove duplicates and flag incomplete records.

·
Add missing notes, tags, or categories to improve future reporting.

·
Ensure marketing and sales data are clean and ready for upcoming campaigns.

Ideal Candidate

·
Currently enrolled in a college program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

·
Strong organizational and time management skills.

·
Comfortable using social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook).

·
Basic knowledge of Canva, HubSpot (or similar CRM tools), and Microsoft Office.

·
Attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

·
Interest in construction, trades, or B2B marketing is an asset, but not required.
