Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Shuttle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently between designated locations. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times. The Shuttle Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for all passengers.

Duties

  • Safely operate shuttle vehicles according to established routes and schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, schedules, and any delays.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical integrity of the shuttle vehicle, performing routine inspections and minor repairs as needed.
  • Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their safety at all times.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
  • Keep accurate records of trips, including passenger counts and any incidents that occur during transport.

Qualifications

  • Valid commercial driving license (CDL Class 1 or 4) is preferred; experience in commercial driving is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on the shuttle vehicle.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with passengers and team members.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle various passenger needs professionally.
  • Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations while ensuring passenger safety.
  • Previous experience in a driving or transportation role is advantageous but not mandatory.
