We are expanding in Eastern Canada and are seeking a results-driven District Sales Manager to grow our business. In this role, you will oversee sales activities in Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland, and Labrador, driving revenue growth and market share through a multi-market approach. Responsibilities- Sales Leadership: Engage with engineering firms, contractors, OEMs, end users, and distributors to secure new business and expand existing relationships.
- Strategic Planning: Develop sales strategies for target markets, aligned with company goals.
- Customer Engagement: Conduct sales calls, product demonstrations, training, and presentations.
- Market Insights: Assess customer needs and market trends to create effective sales campaigns.
- Tracking & Reporting: Use to manage sales activities and project progress.
- Trade Events: Represent Hayward at trade shows and industry events to promote our brand.
- Team Collaboration: Work with Customer Care, Technical Service, and other teams to ensure high-quality service.
- Account Management: Support Customer Service in maintaining key account information.
- Travel: Up to 50% travel within Canada and occasional U.S. trips.
- Education: Bachelor's degree, ideally in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 7+ years in technical or industry sales, with knowledge of flow control products.
- Skills: Strong communication, technical aptitude, and presentation abilities.
- Market Knowledge: Experience in water treatment, mining, aquatics, or chemical processing is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce), Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Driver's License: Must hold a valid license for travel.
