RAPS is Seeking weekend caregiver to assist an individual with MS (E71)

Location Fort Saskatchewan

Days/ Hours: Saturday and Sunday 11am-3pm

Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: Personal care, Showering, dressing, oral care including mouth guard sanitization, Suprapubic Catheter care (both bag and insertion site), Suprapubic catheter insertion (willing to learn), meal and snack preparation, medication administration, light housekeeping and laundry, Pet care (Cat little box and feedings), support on outings (Shopping once a week).

Please note: 2 cats in the home

Possibility for a Dog to visit.

Qualifications: the successful candidate must have an updated criminal record check containing the Vulnerable sector check portion, must have a Health care aide certificate and suprapubic catheter experience considered an asset. Must have a class 5 driver's license and vehicle and first aid/CPR.
