We are seeking a hardworking and motivated individual to join our team as a Production Worker. The successful candidate will assist in the production of precast concrete products. You will work a dayshift schedule Monday to Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm, with overtime offered as needed to meet business demand. On-the-job training is provided in a friendly, team minded environment.

Your day at Barkman may include:

  • General heavy labour work in a precast concrete facility.
  • Assembly, preparation and dismantling of concrete forms.
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading of concrete materials.
  • Using various hand tools such as saws and pneumatic tools.
  • Focus on maintaining quality workmanship.
  • Physical activities include walking, standing, kneeling, bending, lifting (up to 50lbs), reaching, using arms/hands to operate equipment.
  • Required to wear a hardhat, safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection at all times and a respirator (which requires an employee to be clean-shaven) when needed for specific jobs.
  • Following Safe Work Procedures and safety regulations.
