Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen staff by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Duties

  • Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients.
  • Support cooking staff by preparing meals according to established recipes and guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
  • Help with serving meals to customers or staff as needed.
  • Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and reporting shortages.
  • Participate in cleaning tasks at the end of shifts to maintain a sanitary work environment.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
