Manager of Clinical Nutrition

and Food Services

We are currently looking for a permanent full-

time Manager of Clinical Nutrition and Food

Services. The successful candidate will play an

integral role in planning, organizing, and

monitoring all phases of the food production

and service to patients, Queensway Place

residents and vending clientele. Reporting

directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the

incumbent is a highly motivated individual

with exceptional communication and

organizational skills.

As an innovative and inspired leader, the

successful candidate will organize the delivery

of nutritional care in the acute care

department and long-term care home and

provide effective human resources

management and fiscal accountability for the

Food Services Department. In addition, this

leader will foster and support a team

environment to ensure the attainment of our

organizational goals and will act as a role model

for all staff and promote the reputation of the

facility in the community.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate should possess the

following:

  • Current registration in good standing

with the College of Dietitians of Ontario

  • Active CSNM Membership is an asset
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in

a leadership position preferred

  • Thorough knowledge of

nutritional needs and nutrition

care plans

  • Experience working as part of a

multidisciplinary team to provide a

coordinated approach to patient

and resident care

  • Experience administering and

supervising food and nutrition

programs within a hospital and/or

long-term care setting

  • Demonstrable leadership skills,

organizational skills, and budget

management

  • Bilingualism in French and English is an

asset.

Benefits:

This position offers a competitive

compensation package including paid

vacation and sick leave, health and dental

benefits, life insurance and pension plan.

Starting wage is $46.702 to $52.554

depending on experience.
