Amari Films is a Vancouver-based wedding film brand. Our events blend cinematic storytelling with refined, high-touch client experiences. We're expanding our event services to include a premium photobooth offering for weddings, corporate, and private events.

The Role

We're looking for a Photobooth Photo Editor to support our team as we grow. To evaluate performance, we are hiring for an upcoming wedding event in Surrey, BC. Based on performance, this has the potential to move into a recurring contract role for future events across BC.

The role involves managing a photobooth station, where guests have their photos taken on a professional camera by our photographer. You'll handle quick, clean edits and color adjustments on-site before printing or sharing the final photos for guests in real time.

Responsibilities

  • Import and edit photobooth images in real time during the event
  • Apply quick touch-ups (exposure, color balance, cropping, minor retouching)
  • Coordinate with the photographer and event team to ensure smooth photo flow
  • Manage printing software or station setup to produce guest prints
  • Maintain a professional and friendly attitude with event attendees

Requirements

  • Experience in photo editing (Lightroom, Capture One, or similar software)
  • Fast workflow and attention to visual consistency
  • Comfort working in a live event environment with time-sensitive edits
  • Laptop capable of handling photo imports and quick edits
  • Basic understanding of printing workflow (helpful but can be trained)
  • Professional presentation and reliability — this is a client-facing role
  • Availability on Tuesday, November 26, 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM in Surrey, BC

Nice to Have

  • Experience with event photography or photobooth setups
  • Familiarity with color grading or matching a branded look

Compensation

Paid event. Rate depends on experience.

If the collaboration goes well, you'll be added to our contract roster for future weddings, brand activations, and corporate events.
