Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive repair services. Your expertise in automotive repair and exceptional customer service skills will ensure that our clients receive the best possible experience while their vehicles are being serviced. If you can deliver top notch customer service have a strong sales track record and can thrive in a busy sometimes stressful team enviorment this could be the team for you This position is a base salaried position with lucrative tiered bonus/commissioned payscale.

This role offers an opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic team enviroment.

While the initial contract is for maternity leave coverage, there maybe an opportunity to extend the role or transition into a permanent position depending on business needs.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assess their automotive service needs.
  • Provide detailed explanations of services, repairs, and costs to customers.
  • Utilize your mechanical knowledge to recommend appropriate services and repairs.
  • Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service orders, and invoices.
  • Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently.
  • Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services.
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

Requirements

  • Previous dealership experience is preferred.
  • Mechanic experience or strong mechanical knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Proven customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
  • Sales experience, particularly in an automotive setting, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology.
  • Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining customer trust.
  • Strong cash handling skills and attention to detail.
