Job Desription

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing inbound leads, conducting follow-ups, preparing quotes, closing deals, and supporting our dealer network across Canada, the USA, and international markets. You will work closely with management to maintain strong customer relationships, drive sales growth, and support daily operations.

Sales & Lead Management

  • Respond promptly to inbound calls, emails, web inquiries, and social media leads.
  • Qualify leads and identify customer needs, project scope, and timelines.
  • Provide detailed product information, pricing, and Smart Film recommendations.
  • Prepare and send accurate quotes, proposals, and invoices.
  • Follow up consistently on estimates until a decision is made.
  • Manage CRM entries, pipeline stages, and customer notes.
  • Convert leads into sales while maintaining strong profit margins.

Dealer & Partner Support

  • Support existing dealer networks in Canada, USA, and international regions.
  • Assist dealers with product questions, technical support, and installation guidance (non-technical level).
  • Coordinate sample shipments and marketing materials.
  • Assist onboarding of new distributors or partners when needed.

Customer Service

  • Provide clear, courteous communication with homeowners, contractors, designers, and architects.
  • Manage customer expectations and timelines professionally.
  • Handle basic troubleshooting and direct detailed technical issues to the appropriate team.

Administrative & Coordination Tasks

  • Maintain accurate records of orders, quotes, and client documents.
  • Coordinate with production to verify lead times, stock availability, and order status.
  • Track follow-ups, renew expired quotes, and manage contract files.
  • Contribute to process improvements for sales efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or B2B sales.
  • Experience in construction, glass, window films, architectural products, or smart home tech is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills—written and verbal.
  • Proficient with CRM tools, email platforms, quoting systems, and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to read basic drawings or measurements (training provided).
  • Strong follow-up skills and ability to close deals.
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational habits.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple leads at once.

Contract Details

  • Contract term: Part Time
  • Hours: Part Time, Negotiable hours up to 30 Hours a week
  • Location: Smart Film Offices with occasional sales calls
  • Training: Full product and sales training provided
