Role Description

Ronin Earthworks is seeking a full-time, on-site Dump Truck Driver for our operations in Victoria, BC. The Dump Truck Driver will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, or other construction-related materials to and from specified locations. Daily tasks include inspecting the vehicle for safety, adhering to delivery schedules, loading and unloading materials as necessary, navigating routes efficiently, and ensuring compliance with applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Qualifications

  • Valid CDL Class A license and a proven track record of professional truck driving experience
  • Experience pulling various trailers
  • Proficiency in operating and managing dump trucks as well as related tasks like loading and unloading materials
  • Comprehensive knowledge of DOT regulations and a commitment to adhering to safety protocols
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
  • Experience in construction or similar industries is an asset
  • Ability to perform regular vehicle maintenance checks and promptly report any issues
  • Physically able to handle the demands of the role, including lifting and working in various weather conditions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $32.50-$40.00 per hour
