Automotive Technician Wanted – Calgary, AB
Are you a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician looking for a rewarding long-term career? Amun Auto Works, a trusted name in automotive service and repair, is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing team in Calgary, Alberta.
About the Role
As an Automotive Technician at Amun Auto Works, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of light-duty vehicles, including cars, SUVs, and light trucks. You'll perform inspections, handle preventative maintenance, and ensure all repairs meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
You'll also work closely with other skilled technicians, contribute to a positive and collaborative shop environment, and occasionally mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on various makes and models.
- Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs (brakes, suspension, steering, etc.).
- Conduct out-of-province and insurance inspections as required.
- Troubleshoot complex vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical components.
- Write clear and detailed work orders and inspection reports.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely, high-quality service for every customer.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Journeyperson Certificate in Automotive Service Technician (AB) or Red Seal Certification (preferred).
- Class 5 Driver's License (required).
- Must have your own set of hand tools.
- 3–5 years of experience as an automotive technician preferred.
