Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment. Also required to operate other equipment as well as skid steers, loaders, boomtruck, vac truck and other duties as assigned. We operate 24/7 so the schedule must be flexible.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial truck to transport freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and other heavy equipment as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents during transport.
- Communicate effectively with management, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road and at loading/unloading sites.
- Must have a good driving record and clean criminal record
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other heavy equipment related to freight handling.
- Strong knowledge of freight transportation processes and logistics.
- Basic automotive repair skills for routine vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
