Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized
Administrator, Commercial Lending Operations
to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to the efficient processing and maintenance of commercial loan documentation and supports both internal departments and external partners. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This is a hybrid position based out of our office in Surrey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Document Administration: Accurately manage, verify, and archive commercial loan documentation in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Operational Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Commercial Lending Operations team, including data entry, document review, and records management.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise effectively with internal departments (e.g., branches, legal) and external partners to facilitate the timely exchange of information and documentation.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of loan files to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance, including verification of underwriting and required signatures.
  • Technical Proficiency: Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to manage data, generate reports, and support operational workflows.
  • Customer Service: Deliver responsive and professional support to internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed of updates to commercial lending policies, procedures, and systems, and proactively seek opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications And Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in an administrative capacity, preferably within the financial services or commercial lending sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word. Familiarity with loan application systems is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of information with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to support team objectives and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Enthusiastic about acquiring new skills and knowledge to support evolving business needs.
